This map's original URL is http://www.marietta.edu/~biol/biomes/biome_main.htm. This map shows the different biome distribution of the world. It is interesting to me because it shows how diverse the world is. Places between 60 degree north and south latitude have cold tundra climates and as you move closer and closer to the equator, the climates get hotter and vegetation is less until you hit the areas with rain forests.
This map's original URL is from http://www.worldmapper.org/svg/map2/index.html. This map was displayed in class earlier and I found it interesting the way they decided to display the the distribution of the world's population. It shows that China and India as having a big population. This is beause those countries are the top two in the world's most populated countries. This map also shows the distribution of every country in the world.
